The Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine is dedicated to providing all students with equal opportunities as well a safe and respectful environment to learn and enjoy all aspects of student life at the college.  Our intent is to meet the student’s individual educational needs without compromising programme standards all the while maintaining the confidentiality of each student.

OCHM will abide by the principle of the Ontario Human Rights Code within the standards and ethics governing the College.  The Ontario Human Rights Code states:

“Every person has the right to equal treatment with respect to services, goods and facilities without discrimination because of race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status or handicap.”

This statement governs all aspects of College operations.

Desiree_coates 2 OCHM seeks students whose academic talent and commitment to excellence promise future achievement in the field of Homeopathic Medicine.  The Admissions Committee selects students primarily on the basis of their academic credentials, admissions essays, and the admissions interview.  OCHM is looking for candidates with strong academic backgrounds and compelling reasons for pursuing the study of Homeopathic Medicine.

The Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine offers a professional 9-semester programme in Homeopathic Medicine and Health Sciences – a unique opportunity to complete a 4 ½ year programme in 3 years. The curriculum consists of over 4000 hours of Homeopathy, Health Sciences and Clinical Internship.  Should you require a longer period within which to complete the programme, please speak to the Dean personally.

Students who do not meet the admission requirements may apply under “Special Student” status. Students applying under this status should contact the office for details concerning their application.

Students wishing to apply for Advanced Standing must book an appointment with the Dean for approval of the application.  If approval is not granted, the student is eligible to write a challenging exam for those subjects.
