This course allows students to study homeopathy from the comfort of home and at their own schedule.
All students will be matched one on one with a faculty member of OCHM, who will support and guide them through the course.
DETAILS: This course consists of 15 lessons.
Level I: Introduction (5 modules)
- History of Homeopathy, Scientific Basis, Current Theories, Comparison of Paradigms
- Fundamentals & Principles
- Symptomatology, Posology, Remedy Preparation
- Provings & Materia Medica - Introduction
- Knowledge of Medicine
Level II: Art & Science of Homeopathy (10 modules)
- Organon of the Medical Art
- Repertories, their Structure and Organization
- Case Taking According to Organon
- Acute versus Chronic Disease in Homeopathy
- Hahnemann’s Theory of Miasms
- Acute Conditions: First Aid, Colds & Flu Treatment (2 modules)
- Materia Medica: 12 Widely Used Remedies (3 modules)
Students will gain an understanding and knowledge of the history, origins, philosophy and fundamental laws of the Homeopathic system of medicine. This knowledge will be applied to discussions on the scientific basis of homeopathy, its current issues and challenges. It is important to understand the principles of practice and case taking as these will be the cornerstone of a successful prescription.
Students will be issued a Certificate in The Art and Science of Homeopathy upon successful completion of the course.
