Ontario Homeopathic Association (OHA)
The Ontario Homeopathic Association (OHA) was founded in 1992 to re-establish Homeopathy as a recognized health care system in Ontario, and to form a united and regulated body of qualified practitioners who provide safe, effective and professional homeopathic health care to the public.
The OHA has established the highest standards of care for the Homeopathic Medical profession in the province of Ontario. Professional ethics and standards of this discipline bind all members.
The OHA has been actively involved in the regulation of Homeopathy in the province of Ontario and is extremely proud of the passing of the “Homeopathy Act of 2007”. With this act, there will be transparency and accountability of educators and practitioners, because it is important to protect the public who use homeopathy. This is why the OHA has implemented such high standards for its members and why it has given special accreditation privileges to graduates of the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine.
