As part of the curriculum at OCHM, students have a great opportunity to study with some of the most internationally renowned homeopaths. Along with our students, faculty, students from other schools, practicing homeopaths and alumni are encouraged to attend these seminars to broaden their homeopathic knowledge base.
Aside from the educational aspect that comes with learning from and preceptorship with brilliant educators, these seminars are also an opportunity for the attendees to share their knowledge with others. It is only through communication and sharing information that we can all grow as a united community with a common goal in mind; to help our patients.

' The Wednesday Summit ': With Rajan Sankaran
In a program of more than 50 talks on Wednesdays scheduled over one-and-a-half years, Rajan Sankaran is sharing, with enthusiastic students and practitioners throughout the world, his illuminating insights on the philosophy and practice of homoeopathy. This series of talks - Wednesdays With Rajan - which is half-way through, is still attracting more and more subscribers, an indication of its usefulness and relevance. So far homoeopaths in 43 countries log on to the website weekly to listen to the talks, which have become a much valued and cherished part of their lives.
And now, there is something more to look forward to. At the end of this series, something that will bring all the threads of learning together and take it forward to the next level.
The Wednesday Summit is intended as a special event for the participants of WWR. At the completion of the series, they will have obtained the basic knowledge and background needed to take their learning experience one step further.
This event will also be open to those who may not have watched WWR but who see themselves as ready to participate in the knowledge, the insights and the wisdom.

What is it that will make this seminar a unique event?
The Reality of Practice :
Normally in seminars one gets a rather one-sided picture with pre-selected cases of special remedies. How is practice really? This is what the participant needs to see. The Wednesday Summit aims to do just that.
This will be a special experience that has never before been available to participants of a seminar - video footage of follow-ups continuously taken during days of live practice. They will provide to the participant an open and honest insight at the reality of practice. It will be like sitting alongside him in his clinic, watching him handle all variety of cases, acute and chronic, simple and difficult, adult and children, successful and unsuccessful. And explaining each case to you from the very beginning, taking you with him in the struggles and joy of practice.
This will be a clinical training useful for all homeopaths who can see the reality of practice. That there is not one truth, there is a whole range. And, yet there is an integration , a unity.
The seminar will also focus on the following most important areas of practice:
Taking follow-ups
Focusing on the changes to look for, when to repeat the dose and when not to, how to extract fine points in the case in a few minutes, and when to change the remedy. Doing all this rapidly, when one needs to follow-up patients in very little time, one after another. You will see cases of follow-ups after 1 month, 6 months and cases following up after 28 years!
Handling a variety of cases, using a flexibility of approach
Such an exposure will teach you how to approach and handle cases of children; of inexpressive, non communicative patients, pathological, chronic and acute, difficult and easy cases. You will see a flexibility of approach in a variety of cases, covering prescriptions arrived at traditionally through rubrics, materia medica and drug pictures, and those using the kingdom and sensation approach.
Practical application of concepts in the Sensation Approach
You will be able to get a more practical understanding of miasms, kingdoms, levels, potency and repetitions. The variety of cases , in quick succession , will show clearly the differences in the various kingdoms and miasms like never before. Cases will illustrate all the aspects of the method, all the kingdoms and miasms. The prescriptions will be explained clearly with the help of powerpoints.
Many of the patients speak English which will make it easy for all to understand the process. Cases of other languages will be translated or sub titled.
There will be an ample opportunity for all to discuss their difficulties in person.
And……
Two live cases - to enable participants to go together with Rajan into the exploration of the case.
