The personal interview will ascertain whether the program is suited to the interests of each applicant. If the interview is satisfactory the applicant will be offered a seat in the program.
The interview is an integral part of the admission process as it will ascertain the character of the applicant, determine their motivation for applying to the program, assess their communication and interpersonal skills as well as allow them to ask any final questions they might have about the College.
At OCHM, we encourage an open dialogue between administration and students as we feel it is the only way for each party to grow and develop into an integral part of the Homeopathic community.
Those students who wish to be exempt from certain subjects at the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine must produce transcripts, a letter and an outline of previous course(s) from their previous accredited educational institutions verifying their request.
The Dean and the Professor must approve the application. If approval is not granted, the student is eligible to write a challenge exam for those subjects. All courses approved with advanced standing will not be calculated into a student’s GPA.
